Miguel Rivera has over 13 years of experience in digital functions such as Multichannel Marketing and IT in local, regional and global roles across different pharmaceutical companies.

Before joining Novartis in April 2018, Miguel was Global Digital Innovation Head for Ferring Pharmaceuticals, based in Switzerland. He has also been responsible for Digital in the LATAM region for Bayer Pharmaceuticals.
In his current role, Miguel is leading the omnichannel strategy for the Asia Pacific & MEA region in Novartis, focusing on customer centricity, data-driven decision making, change management and capability building across all functions.

Miguel has a BA in Marketing from the Monterrey Institute of Technology in Mexico and an MBA from the Catalonia Polytechnic University in Spain.
